Product Description

Cellulose is widely present in cereal grains and plant protein meals but is difficult for animals to digest due to its complex fiber structure. Excess cellulose may reduce nutrient availability, lower feed efficiency, and increase digestive burden, especially in young animals.

Habio Cellulase is designed to solve this challenge by efficiently degrading plant fiber and breaking down cellulose structures into digestible sugars. By opening the plant cell wall matrix, the enzyme releases trapped nutrients and improves the utilization of protein, starch, and energy in feed ingredients.

Habio Cellulase helps nutritionists formulate more efficient diets while supporting better intestinal health, animal performance, and economic return.

Key Functions
  • Improve digestibility of high-fiber feed ingredients
  • Release nutrients trapped inside plant cells
  • Improve feed conversion ratio (FCR)
  • Increase utilization of protein and energy
  • Reduce digestive burden
  • Support healthier intestinal function
  • Reduce manure and emissions
  • Improve feed cost efficiency
  • Enhance farm profitability

Product Characteristics
  • High-efficiency cellulose degradation
  • Complete cellulase enzyme system
  • Broad substrate adaptability
  • Stable processing performance
  • Suitable for corn-, wheat bran- and soybean meal-based diets
  • Compatible with modern enzyme programs

Mechanism of Action

Cellulase consists of a complete cellulase enzyme system including:

  • Endoglucanase (EG): breaks internal cellulose chains and destroys fiber crystal structure
  • Cellobiohydrolase (CBH): hydrolyzes exposed cellulose chains into oligosaccharides
  • β-Glucosidase (βG): converts oligosaccharides into glucose for nutrient absorption

This synergistic enzymatic process maximizes fiber degradation and nutrient availability.

Definition of Activity

One unit of cellulase is defined as the quantity of enzyme, which liberates 1μmol of reducing sugar from 4.0mmol/L sodium carbixymethyl cellulase substrate at 37℃ and pH5.5 in 1min.
